Don’t miss Gypsy Soul this Saturday, August 2, 3:00pm on the North Stage at Art on the Green! They’ll also be playing Sunday, August 3 at 12:00p on the South Stage. Internationally acclaimed Gypsy Soul produces award-winning, soulful Americana pop-rock. They are recent winners of the Independent Music Awards and the International Acoustic Music Awards. Critics have said their music is a cross between Bonnie Raitt, Fleetwood Mac and Sheryl Crow - with a passionate and bluesy, spiritual edge. "A gorgeous mix of folk, pop, jazz with touches of bluegrass...that nourishes the dried up gardens of the soul." - CD Baby "Cilette Swann's voice is haunting and Roman Morykit's musicianship is superb. Their music stirs the soul and moves the spirit." - Monica Rizzo, PEOPLE Magazine "Four stars." - ALL MUSIC GUIDE
Searching for a musical soul mate, Canadian singer and lyricist, CILETTE SWANN traveled to Europe exploring her Celtic roots. After a few years singing in Paris in French jazz clubs, her longing took her to Edinburgh, Scotland where she met world-class musician and producer, ROMAN MORYKIT. After many years of marriage and a prolific musical partnership, the duo has recorded ten CDs and one live concert DVD from Triple Door in Seattle, WA. We're happy to have them back at Art on the Green!
