Art on the Green is a fine arts outdoor festival sponsored by Citizens' Council for the Arts, a non-profit corporation of interested volunteers formed to encourage and promote the arts. Fees and commissions help to pay the costs of the festival. Active participation by all interested members of the community is invited and encouraged. 

In addition to creating, producing and supporting Art on the Green, the CCA sponsors community art projects such as the Aspiring Artists Club at North Idaho College, helps support North Idaho College Corner Gallery, donates art supplies to local schools, donates art to North Idaho College and donates an annual work of art to a local school.

The CCA is a member of the Coeur d'Alene Art & Culture Alliance and the Coeur d’Alene Chamber of Commerce.
