Scholarships Available for ArtShop!

Dear Art on the Green Patrons & Friends,
We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded a grant from the Herbert D. McAvoy Fund in the Idaho Community Foundation for scholarships to ArtShop! This grant allows us an outreach capacity we have not had before. This year we have the opportunity to offer scholarships to children who might not otherwise be able to participate in ArtShop.
These scholarships are for students who have completed grades 2-8 who would love to attend ArtShop but may not be able to afford the tuition (normally $90 per student). The family will need to commit to the student attending the whole week and participating in the program at the Art on the Green festival. We are looking for students who will be excited to participate!
ArtShop is July 28-August 1, 9:45a-3:15p M-F at Hayden Meadows Elementary. Information can be found here.
Scholarship students should fill out the ArtShop registration form (which can be found on the web page listed above) as any other student would, with class choices, parent information, etc. In the payment area, they should write "request for Herbert D. McAvoy scholarship." **IMPORTANT - because we are working to get the word out there and fill these scholarship slots, there may be more requests for scholarships than scholarship slots, and in that case it will be first-come-first-served, so the sooner your scholarship student registers, the more likely they will be to get a scholarship spot!**
We are very excited about this opportunity and offering an enriching ArtShop experience to the scholarship students while they in turn enrich our special ArtShop program.
If you have any questions about this scholarship opportunity, please don't hesitate to contact me.
  Sincerely,
  Jolie Bazler
