Art on the Green is a yearly arts and entertainment festival run by volunteers in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

Hawkeye Design

Wheel thrown and altered, as well as, hand built and sculpted porcelain pottery. Glazes exclusively sprayed and work fired in an oxidation atmosphere with controlled cooling.

Wheel thrown & Hand built porcelain, multi layered glazing utilizing dipping, pouring, trailing & brushwork techniques. High gas fired in a carefully controlled reduction atmosphere to 2400 degrees F.

I make function and decorative ceramic art. I fired to cone 6 oxidation. My work has a vintage feel and most is carved or altered and under-glazed.

Pottery is wheel-thrown and/or slab built. Carving and bold glaze colors are used to enhance the contrast between glazed and unglazed clay. Nature inspired using wood as handles. Cone 10 reduction

Pottery is thrown on a wheel. Functional pots are fired to Cone 6 in a gas kiln. Barrel fired pots are burnished and fired in organic material, salts and colorants to achieve an organic surface.
