Donation of Art Supplies to CDA School District Art Classes

Citzens’ Council for the Arts (sponsor of Art on the Green) and the Sue and Patrick Flammia Endowment Fund started delivery of a generous gift of art class supplies – a total of approximately $10,000 worth –to 6 Coeur d’Alene School District art programs. Recipient schools were Borah Elementary School, Bryan Elementary School, Winton Elementary School and Venture High School. Fernan Elementary School and Lakes Middle School are also scheduled to have art supplies delivered to their art programs over the next week. The Citizens’ Council representatives are pleased to offer this gift and state “We want the community to know how much we appreciate the hard work of our teachers and how much we value having art in our schools. We also want the community to know how much we appreciate their support of our summer Festival, Art on the Green, which makes it possible for us to give this gift to our schools and the students they serve.”
