Art on the Green is a yearly arts and entertainment festival run by volunteers in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

Creative Endeavors

I hand paint outrageously colorful clothing using squeeze bottles, brushes, sponges and tape. Each garment is machine washable and brings smiles to the wearer and observer.

Toni Spencer Batiks

Batik on silk. Melted wax is used as a resist to save each color. After waxing it's dipped in dye. Waxing and dyeing is repeated for each color. The wax is removed and the batik is matted and framed.

Wet felting: laying dyed wool fibers as strokes of paint in layers, adding silk fibers and fabric which react differently in the process, allows me to create art with depth, texture and movement.

The Bag Ladies of Sequim, WA

Wool Slippers,purses,boots, 100% recycled. Created from wool coats and blankets are taken apart,then hand dyed, and sewn ,applique’s are cut and sewn on, then embroidery & bead work used to embellish.

I make my own samples and patterns; I use colored fabric dye color in and strip it out. I make regular plus sizes, I make pants, tops, dresses, cardigans and scarfs. Dyed to match pieces

Sas'y

My pieces are wet felted wool. I use resists to create layers and depth, embroidered stitching to define shapes and add texture, and pleating and inclusions to add to the textural interest.
