Kids Use Art to Send Love to Firefighters

Last summer the children in the Art Garden at Art on the Green painted fabric squares for our local firefighters. The first group of these squares have been sewn into Quilts of Love, as gifts to the families of Frank Harwood and John Morrison and for David Tysdal.

With the remaining painted squares, we will be making a quilt for the Coeur d’Alene Fire Station and Kootenai County Fire and Rescue Station. Thank you to Diane Solomon and Timber Ridge Quilting for your work on these beautiful quilts!

Art on the Green is also donating art for each family and for each fire station in Coeur d’Alene and Kootenai County. The art will be selected at the festival from our Juried Show or from any booth artist.

We join our community in love and appreciation for our firefighters.
