CALL for Volunteers - Art on the Green 2017

Did you know? Art on the Green is run by more than 500 volunteers each summer. Shifts are 2-3 hours long, depending on the station. If you would like to sign up for a shift or find out more about our volunteer opportunities, please join us for a NEW VOLUNTEER Meeting * Thursday, June 29, 6:00-7:00p, at the Windermere building on Northwest Boulevard, 1000 Northwest Boulevard, Coeur d’Alene, ID 83814 (on the corner of Hubbard and NW Blvd).

Art on the Green volunteer opportunities include:

- Working in the food or beverage booths – all food and drink booths are run by volunteers to support the festival. Serve ice cream, prepare tasty food, or sell cold drinks with a warm smile.

- Working in the Children’s Art Area – the festival provides free hands-on art activities for children of all ages.

- Working in the art areas, including the Clothesline Art Sale and the Juried Art Show.

Volunteers get a volunteer pin and receive a free beverage or ice cream after working a shift.

The purpose of the festival is to support the arts & artists, and to bring a wonderful art & music festival to our community each year. Admittance into the festival and all of the entertainment is free of charge, thanks to our volunteers! Art on the Green is a highlight of summer in Coeur d’Alene, and volunteering for the festival enriches the community where we live.

If you are a returning volunteer and want to volunteer at the same station this year, please get in touch with your station leader or email Volunteer Coordinator Jolie Bazler.

We can't wait for the 49th annual Art on the Green festival at North Idaho College August 4, 5, 6, 2017!
