Washi Art at Art on the Green 2016

Kyoko Niikuni specializes in creations using Japanese washi paper. Her art is produced exclusively by traditional Japanese methods. The technique consists of tearing and pasting down hundreds of teased pieces of washi paper. The result is a kind of collage, "painted" with hand-made washi paper.
