Washi Art at Art on the Green 2016

Kyoko Niikuni specializes in creations using Japanese washi paper. Her art is produced exclusively by traditional Japanese methods. The technique consists of tearing and pasting down hundreds of teased pieces of washi paper. The result is a kind of collage, "painted" with hand-made washi paper. Come and view Kyoko's unique artwork—inspired by wildlife and botanicals—at Art on the Green at North Idaho College, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 5, 6 & 7, 2016!

Style at Art on the Green 2016

One of our clothing artists this year will be Melanie Grace Habets of Careywood, Idaho. Habets will be bringing handmade limited edition garments designed, drafted and constructed using a variety of textiles, including digital prints and uniquely textured knits, with a focus on fit, detail and design. Come and check out Melanie's wearable art at Art on the Green at North Idaho College, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 5, 6 & 7, 2016!
